30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge: Again!

Ok, I’m trying this challenge again. The last time I tried, in February, I got asked to have a solo show of my paintings and the work involved in that interrupted my painting schedule. I’ve had more free time than usual for the past few days, so I’m cheating a bit and getting a head start on the challenge, which officially starts September 1, 2016. The photo gives a hint of some of the paintings I’ve been working on, but, this time, I’ve been working on more than one painting a day.

Actually, I have seven or eight in progress, and I might consider one or two of them finished. Or, I’m done with them, at least. By working on more than one at a time, I have a bit longer than a day to complete a painting because I can keep coming back to a work for a few days before I have to post something. That may be a good thing or bad. I’m not sure! We’ll see.
